June 11, 2019 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS,  a leading government engineering, IT, and training solutions provider, recently partnered with the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) College of Business as the Inaugural Platinum Sponsor for the UTSA Cyber Team Sponsorship Program. The sponsorship for the 2019-2020 academic year, will support the logistics requirements for UTSA students to enable them to travel and compete in cyber competitions around the nation, including the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS Launches Secure EMNS for Service Members with F5 and Microsoft Azure

American Systems is a government services contractor focused on delivering strategic solutions to complex national priority programs. In order to develop and deploy a cloud-based version of its emergency notification system for the United States Air Force, American Systems had to meet Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) requirements issued by the Defense Information Systems Agency. The company’s cloud provider, Microsoft Azure, referred them to F5. A long-time Azure partner specializing in SCCA, F5 was able to get American Systems in compliance quickly and easily. The cloud-based app is now being deployed on USAF bases and major commands in nearly every country, where up to 1 million users will rely on the application for emergency notifications.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS Awarded $27 Million Task Order for Air National Guard Training Support

October 15, 2018 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced it was awarded a $27 Million task order to provide a variety of services in support of the Air National Guard.  The five-year task order was awarded under the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Alliant contract vehicle.

Under the terms of the task order, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will support the Air National Guard’s (ANG) C-130 Multi-Mission Crew Training (MMCT) Training System Support Center (TSSC) at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph in San Antonio, TX. The support includes technical support and sustainment of the MMCT devices. In addition, the company will support the delivery and fielding of the MMCT devices to sixteen (16) ANG contiguous United States (CONUS) locations. AMERICAN SYSTEMS will provide program management, systems engineering, operations, maintenance & sustainment (OM&S), qualification and test support, and software maintenance.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS Acquires DDL OMNI Engineering, LLC.

Chantilly, Va., August 6, 2018 -- AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading provider of federal IT and engineering solutions, today announced it has acquired DDL OMNI Engineering, LLC (DDL OMNI). The transaction, in which DDL OMNI was represented by Teneo Capital, officially closed on August 3.

The strategic acquisition of the McLean, VA-based provider of engineering and technical services will complement AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ existing capabilities and expand the company’s footprint in key areas. The acquisition will result in the addition of 250-plus employees to AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ workforce.
