This Privacy Policy lists our current practices related to your personal information, but it may be adjusted from time to time at our discretion. We are a U.S.-based company, and your personal information will be processed by AMERICAN SYSTEMS and its related third parties in the U.S.  On rare occasions, our related third parties may be located in other countries.

INFORMATION COLLECTION

AMERICAN SYSTEMS collects personal information which may include:

  • First and last name, company name, email address, postal address, IP address, device ID, phone number(s), user ID, password and password hints, and other security information used for authentication and account access.

  • We use this information to provide you with our services, including identity confirmation, job applicant tracking, and indirect marketing. AMERICAN SYSTEMS does not sell your personal information to third parties.

Job applicant information provided during our job application process may include:

  • Name, contact information, date of birth, social security number, device and internet connection information, education and work history, sex, race or ethnic origin, disability and veteran status, criminal record (where permitted by law), and other relevant information.

  • We use this information for human resources services, including, but not limited to, staffing, benefit enrollment, records management, analyzing our recruiting process and outcomes, conducting academic and employment verification, background investigations (where permitted by law), security clearance investigations, and federal or state required affirmative action planning and analysis.

  • We may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to assist in screening and evaluating job applications. AI-assisted decisions are always subject to human review before any final employment decision is made. You have the right to request human review of any AI-influenced decision affecting your application. If you have any questions or wish to opt out of AI driven processing, you may do so in our Applicant Tracking Software.  We use the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of computers that access our Site to help identify you, diagnose any problems with the Site, administer and improve our Site, and gather personal information related to the purposes specified above.

INFORMATION COLLECTION THROUGH COOKIES

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, enhance performance, analyze usage, and deliver content relevant to your interests. Cookies help recognize your browser or device and enable certain Site features. They do not directly identify you unless combined with information you voluntarily provide.

Some cookies are essential to Site functionality (“strictly necessary” cookies), while others support analytics, performance, or personalization. Third parties may also set cookies when you use the Site, such as analytics or embedded service providers.

The Site does not currently respond to browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals due to the absence of a consistent industry standard. Users may manage tracking preferences through browser settings and applicable third-party opt-out tools.

In certain occasions like a mailing list signup or submitting an employment application, we will ask for additional personal information and request your consent to process it for a specified purpose. Whether or not you provide such information is completely your own choice, but our services may be limited.

Data Retention

When no longer required, personal information is securely deleted, anonymized, or archived in accordance with our records retention policies.

INFORMATION SHARING

Our services are possible because of a variety of third parties and service providers. Sometimes it is necessary to share personal information with them to support our services. All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your personal information in accordance with applicable law and this Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.   • To conduct background or security clearance checks and other necessary pre-employment activities for job applicants;

  • To process services which may benefit you as an employee such as providing employee benefits, employee travel assistance, employee expense report processing, or compensation program analysis;

  • To respond to lawful court orders, subpoenas, warrants, or other requests by public authorities, or as otherwise required by law; and

  • As part of a partial or total assignment of assets or other corporate change, including a potential merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.

Your information may be disclosed to AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ domestic and foreign subsidiaries. Your information also may be transferred to a third party for the purposes of data back-up, consolidation, storage, and simplified customer management. As part of any data transmission, your information may be transferred across state and country borders.

If we learn your personal information is not protected according to our contract, or is being processed beyond your consent, we will take reasonable steps to protect your information and/or cease its illegitimate processing.

INFORMATION PROTECTION

Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that the personally identifiable information we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for protecting personal information that you have shared with a third party, including using the same password at our Site and at other sites.

Job applicants can update many types of collected personal information directly within their job application accounts. We may periodically send our customers information regarding our job candidates, employees, products, and services. If you have been receiving such information and do not wish to continue receiving such information, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by emailing us at Privacy@AmericanSystems.com with unsubscribe in the subject line of the email.

MINORS

The Site is not designed for individuals under 16 years of age, although we may receive job applications from those who are under the age of 16 but are legally able to work for our Company. Please be aware that we will not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. By visiting the Site, you are confirming that you are at least 13 years of age. The Site may contain links to other services and websites outside of our control. For example, the page of the Site devoted to employee benefits offered contains links to third-party providers and websites maintained by those providers. MODIFICATIONS TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change this Privacy Policy, we will post any such changes on the Site where the Privacy Policy is located so you will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
