AMERICAN SYSTEMS Awarded $12 Million Task Order with U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Africa Command Surgeon

August 7, 2017 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced it was awarded a task order by Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Command Surgeon (HQ-USAFE-AFAFRICA/SG) to provide program management support as well as Tier 2 on-site support, network administration, and process management. The single-award task order, awarded through the U.S. Air Force NETCENTS 2 NetOps contract vehicle, is valued at more than $12 million over a five-year period.

Under the terms of the task order, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will help USAFE AFAFRICA/SG optimize Information Management and Information Technology across all USAFE Military Treatment Facilities and medical activities.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS Awarded $30 Million U.S. Navy Contract to Provide Advanced Air Vehicle Training (AAVT) Support

July 10, 2017 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading government engineering and IT solutions provider, today announced that it was awarded a five-year $30.3 Million Single Award IDIQ contract to provide specialized engineering in support of the development and operation of state-of-the-art air vehicle dynamic models and simulations through Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) 4.3 Air Vehicle Engineering Department to the NAWCAD. AMERICAN SYSTEMS will be continuing their 30+ year legacy of supporting specialized Department of Defense (DoD) air vehicle platforms.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS Awarded $52 Million Contract to Continue Professional Engineering Services for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Developmental Test and Evaluation

AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced it was awarded a $52 Million Contract by Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Developmental Test and Evaluation (DASD(DT&E)) to provide professional engineering services. Under the terms of the five-year (base year plus four option years) contract, awarded under the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract vehicle, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will continue its support of the DASD(DT&E) mission to ensure Major Defense Acquisition Program/Major Automated Information System (MDAP/MAIS) acquisition programs deliver the data and assessments needed to support critical acquisition and engineering decisions, including the decisions to begin development and enter production.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS adds new Health IT Special Item Number (SIN) to its General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70

AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced it received a modification from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) adding the new Health IT Special Item Number (SIN) 132-56 to the company’s existing IT Schedule 70 (GS-35F-500CA). The Health IT SIN was developed by GSA to assist federal customer agencies in finding IT expertise that meets their highly specialized requirements. This new SIN will pull together offerings from across the health IT spectrum including areas such as health analytics, innovative health IT solutions, and health informatics.
