Lauren Kilcoyne
Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Kilcoyne joined AMERICAN SYSTEMS as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience delivering complex programs, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving operational excellence. She is an accomplished operations executive with a proven record of delivering mission-critical results and leading organizations through growth and transformation. Before joining AMERICAN SYSTEMS, she served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Astrion, where she led the Air Force Division’s contract execution, growth strategy, and operational integration following the acquisition of Axient.
Prior to Astrion, Ms. Kilcoyne served as Vice President and General Manager of the Civilian Business Unit at Empower AI, where she led IT service management, software delivery, and advanced data analytics programs. She led the transition and start-up of Empower AI’s largest digital modernization contract and helped revamp the organization’s growth strategy to incorporate AI-enabled solutions.
Previously, Ms. Kilcoyne led a portfolio of commercial cyber programs at Capgemini, delivering advanced cyber solutions, managed services, and consulting support to Fortune 500 clients. She also held technical and program leadership roles at Leidos and Lockheed Martin, supporting large-scale national security and technology missions.
Ms. Kilcoyne earned a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University.
