Description: Connections II is a competitive multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract all federal agencies can use to issue task orders to obtain telecommunications infrastructure solutions from the contract's 10 large businesses and nine small businesses. Connections II meets federal agencies' equipment, labor, building, and campus infrastructure solution needs, including but not limited to:
Infrastructure design, installation, and implementation
Professional services to support existing networks
Transition planning and integration services
Customized client-specific systems
The contract provides connectivity from the user's desktop to the point of interconnection of the customer's network service providers; and the contract focuses on enterprise-wide solutions to support the integration of telecommunications, networking and network-centric applications at the Local Area Network, building, campus, and enterprise level. Features include:
A global geographic scope
A base of three years and three months, with six one-year options
A $5 billion contract ceiling
19 awardees, including nine small businesses
Task order awards under full and open competition
