October 23, 2017 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced it was awarded a task order to support HQ Air Education and Training Command at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph TX (JBSA). Awarded through the Air Force NetCents 2 NetOps contract vehicle, the single-award task order is valued at $6.9 million over a five-year period.

Under the terms of the task order, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will be providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 Client Support Administration; Automatic Data Processing Equipment Support; and Video Teleconference and Unit Software License Management Support Services.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS Awarded $36.1 Million U.S. Navy Task Order for Technical and Forensic Analysis of IEDs

August 21, 2017 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced it was awarded a task order to support U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD)/Expeditionary Exploitation Unit ONE (EXU-1); formerly known as the Technical Support Detachment (TSD), in conducting global technical and forensic exploitation and analysis of recovered explosive ordnance, their components, and other explosive hazards, to include Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) components and systems. The single-award task order, awarded through the U.S. Navy Seaport-E contract vehicle, is valued at more than $36 million over a five-year period.

Under the terms of the task order, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will help EXU-1 provide analytical support to the continued development and revision of Joint, Navy, Service, Interagency, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Partner Nation doctrine and documents related to Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI), Exploitation and EXU-1 mission sets or areas of interest.

Company to Continue Foreign Military Training Under U.S. Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization IDIQ

Aug 14, 2017 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading government engineering, IT, and Training solutions provider, today announced that it was one of five companies awarded a position on a five-year $250 Million Contract to provide aviation training services in support of Security Assistance programs for the U.S. Army’s Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO).

The SATMO program is a component of the U.S. Security Cooperation Enterprise that prepares, deploys, and sustains Security Assistance Teams (SATs) throughout the world.  SATMO, a subordinate command of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) was initiated in the early 1970s by the U.S. Army and conducts training worldwide in support of Department of Defense and Department of State Security Cooperation plans and programs. 

Under the terms of the contract, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will provide agile, specialized, and cost-effective SATs to facilitate aviation security assistance programs. Services performed will include basic flight crew skills, highly technical flight skills, operational planning skills, and maintenance technical advice and assistance.  Work locations under this contract may include Afghanistan, Indonesia, Iraq, Turkey, Tunisia, Taiwan, Korea, and other locations based upon emerging U.S. Government requirements.

August 7, 2017 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced it was awarded a task order by Headquarters United States Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Command Surgeon (HQ-USAFE-AFAFRICA/SG) to provide program management support as well as Tier 2 on-site support, network administration, and process management. The single-award task order, awarded through the U.S. Air Force NETCENTS 2 NetOps contract vehicle, is valued at more than $12 million over a five-year period.

Under the terms of the task order, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will help USAFE AFAFRICA/SG optimize Information Management and Information Technology across all USAFE Military Treatment Facilities and medical activities.
