AMERICAN SYSTEMS manages approximately 1,600 users, 1,200 laptops (Win7) and 400 mobile devices (iOS) remotely within our corporate infrastructure. We manage these devices with Microsoft SCCM and Active Sync for device compliance and security. Devices on the AMERICAN SYSTEMS environment must adhere to strictly enforces policy standards such as encrypted traffic, encrypted OS, password protection, verified OS baseline, remote wipe, and others before they can connect.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS requires two-factor authentication for all remote access. All traffic traverses web application firewalls, next generation firewalls, and is subject to IDS/IPS inspection as well as advanced threat analytics. We can bring this same level of diligence and protection to your mobile infrastructure as well.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS also provides mobile solutions for our clients. E-Verify is a website capability maintained by Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that permits employers to validate the eligibility of their projected employees to work in the United States. In response to requests for a more mobile version of E Verify, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is currently developing a mobile application for CIS that seeks to duplicate the E Verify website capability. This effort is being developed following a combination of agile and DevOps methodologies in order to ensure the application is not only technically feasible, but accurately representative of the E-Verify brand. The software is being developed to operate on Apple and Android tablets across multiple agile sprints, and will be available in the appropriate app stores later in 2015.
