Creating a Caring Company
AMERICAN SYSTEMS encourages employees to pursue opportunities both inside and outside of the company where they can share their professional experience and personal interests with others. One way our employees do this is through community outreach and involvement. Many contribute their time and talents to community organizations and participate in charitable fundraising, local school district education partnership programs, local business owners’ organizations, national charity walks, animal rescue, and much more. And as a company we are extremely active in fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and its Light the Night Walks.
We are also very involved in bettering the communities where we live and operate. Since 1998, AMERICAN SYSTEMS has partnered with Deer Park Elementary School, where employees have donated their time and skills to install computers and related networks in several after-school community centers and help students through the STAR reading program. Meanwhile, other employees have made significant cash contributions to several schools affected by the Gulf Coast hurricanes. And several offices are involved in local United Way activities.
