Chantilly, Va. – February 15, 2007 – AMERICAN SYSTEMS, an employee-owned, IT services provider, is pleased to announce that its Atlanta-based commercial consulting division—Thoughtmill—has merged with the company’s other commercial consulting division to form the Enterprise Consulting Group. Additionally, Thoughtmill has adopted the AMERICAN SYSTEMS name and logo for its operations.
The conversion of the Thoughtmill brand to AMERICAN SYSTEMS culminates a series of operational transformations. The name change does not affect previous Thoughtmill services, merely the brand name and logo of the company.
In 2002 AMERICAN SYSTEMS acquired Thoughtmill which delivers specialized consulting services to the following industry sectors: energy, financial services, healthcare, retail & travel, and telecommunications.
The commercially-focused Enterprise Consulting Group will be one of three operating groups within AMERICAN SYSTEMS. The other two groups, Enterprise Services Group and Enterprise Engineering Group, are based in Chantilly, Virginia and meet the needs of numerous federal agencies.
“AMERICAN SYSTEMS is pleased that Thoughtmill will now share the AMERICAN SYSTEMS brand,” says Bill Hoover, President and CEO of AMERICAN SYSTEMS. “The IT consulting services they provide to our commercial clients are second-to-none in the industry, and they will continue our tradition of providing quality services.”
