AMERICAN SYSTEMS Promotes Charles “Skip” Foote to Vice President and Strategic Business Area Leader of C4ISR

Business Development and Government IT Expert Elevated to Lead C4ISR Business Development Activities

November 16, 2009 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced the promotion of Charles “Skip” Foote to vice president and strategic business area leader of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR). In this position, Foote will spearhead AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ C4ISR business development activities and oversee the company’s work in support of the intelligence and defense community’s tactical and strategic C4ISR requirements.

Foote, a 35-year federal business development and IT veteran, joined AMERICAN SYSTEMS in January 2009 as vice president and director of the company’s Custom Business Applications (CBA) directorate. In this role, he led the development and deployment of unique IT solutions and systems integration services for federal customers.

Previously, Foote served as executive vice president of technical services for Infoscitex Corporation, where he was charged with developing IT technical services business for the defense and intelligence markets.  He also served as the vice president of intelligence and information sharing for L-3 Communications’ Intelligence Solutions Division.

Foote’s promotion was effective as of October 26, 2009. He is based out of AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ Chantilly, VA office.
