AMERICAN SYSTEMS Adds To SBA Staff

13 February 2007—Chantilly, VA—AMERICAN SYSTEMS, an employee-owned government IT solutions provider, today announced the appointment of J. R. “Rick” Hundley to the position of vice president, Acquisition and Logistics Strategic Business Area (SBA). Hundley joins a solid team of SBA leaders that will strengthen and broaden AMERICAN SYSTEMS service offerings in their respective SBAs.

Before joining AMERICAN SYSTEMS, Hundley was president and chief operating officer of SAFRAN USA, Inc., a subsidiary of The SAFRAN Group, an industry-leading international high-technology company. In this position, he transformed an administrative group into a fully operational U.S. holding company for 36 subsidiaries in the United States and Mexico.

Prior to SAFRAN, Hundley held several senior positions, including vice president of sales and marketing for a division of Lockheed Martin Corporation, chief executive officer and chief operating officer for General Dynamics Product Support and Services Company (PSSC) and vice president of international sales and marketing for General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS). He also served as chief operating officer at NISCO where he led the company through a rapid growth phase.

Hundley is a graduate of Lindenwood University from which he earned a bachelor of science in management and a master of business administration in finance.
