AMERICAN SYSTEMS Selects George Nagy to Lead Acquisition and Logistics Strategic Business Area

Business Development and Operations Specialist to Drive New Business and Counsel Customers on Implementation, Execution of Mission-Critical Acquisition Programs

July 13, 2009 — Chantilly, VA — AMERICAN SYSTEMS today announced the appointment of George Nagy to vice president of the company’s Acquisition and Logistics Strategic Business Area. Mr. Nagy will drive new business opportunities and lead AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ professional management and advisory services practice for customers with large acquisition and supply chain programs.

With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Nagy joins AMERICAN SYSTEMS from GP Consulting Partners, where he served as a strategy, business development, operations and product development consultant. In this role, he provided strategic direction for innovative technology companies, conducted business development with federal government clients and reduced the company’s operating expenditures by more than 40 percent.

Prior to joining GP Consulting Partners, Mr. Nagy was the general manager and vice president of the aerospace, defense and government division at Information Handling Services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Nagy served as founder and CEO of eReliable Commerce, where he developed and managed the company’s financial transaction software services platform. Other past positions held by Mr. Nagy include vice president of worldwide business development for Platinum Technologies, program manager and regional director for Digital Equipment Corporation and national account manager in the automotive business of AT&T Paradyne Bell Labs.

Mr. Nagy earned bachelor degrees in marketing and finance from Madonna University, completed coursework in industrial engineering at Michigan Technological University and is a United States Marine Corps veteran.
